International Input-Output Conference

The International Input-Output Association and Department of Economic Policy at the University of Economics in Bratislava invite to 20th International Input-Output Conference 26th – 29th June, 2012 University of Economics in Bratislava. The goal of the conference is to promote and stimulate the worldwide exchange of ideas among economists between them and government officials, policy makers, engineers, national accountants and managers with interests in inputoutput analysis and related methods.

Invitation to the prof. Hudson lecture

We would like to invite you to the lecture of professor John Hudson from the University of Bathn topic "Enhance Your Potential to Publish in International Referred Journals". The lecture will take place on Friday, September 30th at 9:00 AM at the conference hall in the old building of the University of Economics in Bratislava. The lecture is a part of the international scientific conference for doctoral students and young researchers EDAMBA 2011. Entrance is free of charge.

Canada's Minister visited our university

Peter Van Loan, Canadian Minister of International Trade, visited our university on July 20th 2010. The main purpose of his visit was to discuss with our students about the new Youth Mobility Agreement which allows young people from Canada and Slovakia to travel, study and work in each other’s country for a one-year period.

Prof. Mundell lectured on financial crisis

The Nobel Price for Economics laureate Prof. Robert Mundell from Columbia University in New York has visited the university on March 10th 2010. He gave a lecture on recent financial crisis and monetary unions. That has been a third Nobel Price Lecture at the University of Economics in Bratislava during last 2 years.
