Aim of the course: The aim of the course is to acquaint students with particularities and lessons learned from introducing IT technologies into real-life businesses and society. It offers the student a unique chance to benefit from curricula designed to deliver theoretical knowledge based on a scientific impact analyses as well as practical case study models of IT management within a framework of different types of business. At the same time, the course offers the analysis of contemporary challenges for IT solutions in American as well as Slovak economies. Microsoft as a North-American company and leader in the field of IT solutions and software development brings a highly valuable American know-how into Slovak higher education. The design of the course offers the students an opportunity to combine their study of the economic and business environment in North America with IT-based case studies learning methods taught through business optic.
