Peter Van Loan, Canadian Minister of International Trade, visited our university on July 20th 2010. The main purpose of his visit was to discuss with our students about the new Youth Mobility Agreement which allows young people from Canada and Slovakia to travel, study and work in each other’s country for a one-year period.

The Nobel Price for Economics laureate Prof. Robert Mundell from Columbia University in New York has visited the university on March 10th 2010. He gave a lecture on recent financial crisis and monetary unions. That has been a third Nobel Price Lecture at the University of Economics in Bratislava during last 2 years.
On March 9th 2010, Professor Doctor Claude Martin from Université P. M. France de Grenoble has been awarded the doctor honoris causa of the University of Economics in Bratislava. Professor has played an important role in developing the Sales Management study programme in French language.
University of Economics in Bratislava and hundreds of peolpe have enjoyed 2009 Graduation Ceremonies which took place during June and July 2009. The fresh graduates from bachelor and master degree have received their diplomas.
