For the first time the University of Economics in Bratislava participated in the worldwide evaluation of #Theglobalimpact. This ranking measures the impact of universities on the achievement of the 17 UN goals for sustainable development @GlobalGoalsUN, which cover everything from contributing to eliminating inequalities and promoting safe places to a quality in education.

The EUBA ranked 401-600 in the Partnership for Global Goals. This ranking examines the broader ways in which universities support the goals of sustainable development through cooperation with other countries, the promotion of best practices and the publication of data.

In the competition of Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, the university ranked 301-400 worldwide. This part measures universities' research in the field of law and international relations, their participation as advisers to the government and their policies on academic freedom.

In the categories Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Sustainable Cities and Communities and Decent Work and Economic Growth, the university ranked 401-600 worldwide.

The category Industry, innovation and infrastructure measure the research of universities in the field of industry and innovation, their number of patents and spin-off companies and their income from research from industry. The category Sustainable cities and communities measures university research on internal approaches to sustainability. The categories Decent work and economic growth measure the economic research of universities, their employment practices and the proportion of students who take part in professional practice.
