With the new academic year, the doors of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business opened again for new students who decided to enter the world of economics, management, international relations, finance and other dynamic fields. This year, 1,889 newly admitted students enrolled in the first year of bachelor's degree studies at all faculties. For them, not only a new academic period begins, but also an important life chapter that can shape their future and career direction.

The Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) entered the 2025/2026 academic year solemnly and with respect for the past. During the official opening of the new academic year, it commemorated its 85th anniversary and on this occasion, the university's rector, Prof. Ferdinand Daňo, presented awards for extraordinary contributions to the development of education to fourteen laureates from individual faculties.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the ceremonial opening of the academic year 2025/2026 took place in the Assembly Hall at Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA). At the beginning of an exceptional academic year for EUBA, which will commemorate the 85th anniversary of its founding with several events until next summer, the Rector of EUBA, Prof. Ferdinand Daňo, addressed students, teachers and invited guests.

On the occasion of the World Day of Languages, a unique festival Lingvafest2025 – an event dedicated to foreign languages, cultures and international understanding – took place at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business on 11 and 12 September 2025. The main organizer was the civic association Edukácia a Internet, in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia and the Faculty of Applied Languages ​​EUBA.

The Swedish city of Gothenburg hosted the largest European event focused on the internationalization of higher education - the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Fair - from 9 to 12 September 2025. Among more than 7,300 participants from over 110 countries around the world, representatives of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business (EUBA) were also present.

From May 26th to June 13th, 2025, the 12th annual International Business Consulting Program (IBCP) was held at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse (UWLAX). Twelve EUBA students collaborated with fourteen students from the USA in six mixed teams to solve real-life projects from business practice.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in coordination with the Commercial Department of the Embassy of Hungary in the Slovak Republic and our partner research, statistical and innovation company TREXIMA Bratislava, students from the Budapest University of Economics and Business visited the Faculty of Economic Informatics of the University of Economics in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as "FHI EUBA").

On July 14, 2025, the International Office of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business officially opened the 3rd edition of the summer school program, this time focused on AI and Digital Leadership. The summer school was attended by overall 16 students from several prominent European universities, namely KU Leuven in Belgium, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland, University of Applied Sciences Zwickau and FH Münster in Germany and Budapest University of Economics and Business in Hungary.
