On May 22, 2025, the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC) awarded the European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) label to the Data Science in Economics master's degree program. This achievement represents a significant recognition of the quality of the Faculty of Economic Informatics of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business and at the same time confirms that the study program meets the highest European standards in the field of statistics and data science.
The Faculty of Business Management at EUBA, in cooperation with partner universities Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki), ESIC Business & Marketing School (Madrid) and the University of Economics in Prague, organized the first edition of the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled Green and Sustainable Ecosystems in Business Management.

From 14th to 16th April 2025, the 18th International Teaching Week took place at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business. This event connects annually teachers from foreign universities with EUBA students. The aim of this year's edition was to support the internationalization and at the same time to develop cooperation within the framework of teachers´ mobility.
In the summer semester of an academic year 2024/2025, we organize the 13th edition of an international educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the Bratislava University of Economics iand Business (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.
From March 30, 2025 to April 9, 2025, the manager of the University of the Third Age of the University of Economics in Bratislava and a member of the AIUTA committee, Janka Chládecká, participated at the invitation of AIUTA in three conferences, which were co-organized by the World Organization of Universities of the Third Age in cooperation with three universities in Hong Kong: Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education Kwai Hing Campus, in Macao Milenium College and in Shenzhen College Gold age.
The International Office at the University of Economics in Bratislava recently held an exciting event to engage exchange students from its partner institutions around the globe. From 28.01.2025 to 04.03.2025 the International Office hosted a unique photography challenge with eight participants, encouraging students to showcase their personal experiences through their lenses. This year’s competition, titled “MY EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE IN SLOVAKIA” allowed students to capture moments of their study abroad journey.
Krakow University of Economics (Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie - UEK) is among the leading economic universities in Poland. UEK develops intensive international ties and has long been a key partner of the University of Economics in Bratislava.
The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2025 Education Fair took place in New Delhi, India, from 24-28 March 2025, with more than 2,000 delegates from around the world attending. Representatives of 14 universities and a delegation from the Ministry of Education represented Slovakia at the Study in Slovakia national stand. "India is our partner in many areas, not excluding education. Hundreds of Indian students are studying in Slovakia, especially at the doctoral level," said State Secretary for Higher Education and Academic Research Róbert Zsembera.
In the latest edition of the prestigious global ranking QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, EUBA was ranked in the Economics & Econometrics range of 551–700. This is an exceptional achievement, as it is the only university from Slovakia to make it into the ranking in this category.
On March 11, 2025, the University of Economics in Bratislava premises were transformed into a vibrant space full of colors, flavors, and inspiring stories. The International Office organized the 14th annual International Study Abroad Fair, where 45 international students from 21 countries around the world shared unique aspects of their academic and cultural backgrounds.
