A joint certificate program offered in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (UWL), USA. Students work in international teams to address real-world business challenges presented by companies operating in the Slovak market.
Bratislava University of Economics and Business, in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (USA), organizes an international summer school program for its students called the International Business Consulting Program (IBCP). The program aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and the business sector by engaging local and international companies operating in Slovakia. It also provides students with an opportunity to gain practical experience working in international teams.
Over the course of two and a half weeks, mixed Slovak-American student teams work on real-world consulting projects developed in cooperation with successful companies and institutions, including Dell, TPA Horwath, O2 Slovakia, Creatix, Johnson Controls, TPA, Slovak Telekom, Soitron, and the U.S. Embassy. The IBCP summer school is conducted entirely in English. Each year, approximately 25–30 students from Slovakia and the United States participate in the program.
