In connection with ensuring the safety and health of  staff and students of the EUBA and in connection with the hybrid form of teaching from 14 March 2022

 

I order

these general anti-epidemic measures to be followed:

 

  1. Using relevant ways of checking the current state of health before arriving at the EU in Bratislava.
  2. Follow the operational instructions, internal EU regulations in Bratislava and the measures of the Public Health Office.
  3. To follow the measures of the Rector, as amended.
  4. All employees entering the EU building in Bratislava are required to present the employee's card. All students entering the EU building in Bratislava are required to present a student card.
  5. Other public who are not an employees or students of the EU in Bratislava are required to present an identity document and register their name in the guestbook.
  6. In case of signs of acute respiratory disease, clinical signs of COVID-19, in case of required home isolation, required PCR testing or in case of confirmed COVID-19 disease do not enter the EU premises in Bratislava (including student dormitories). The employee notifies this fact to the employer through the direct superior, the student notifies this fact to the contact person at the relevant faculty listed below. The employer or the contact person at the relevant faculty informs Department of Health, Section Safety and Security at Work at the EU in Bratislava.
  7. Persons with signs of acute respiratory disease, persons with clinical signs of COVID-19, as well as persons subject to home isolation, PCR testing or persons with confirmed COVID-19 disease, will not be allowed enter in the EU premises in Bratislava, including student dormitories.
  8. Require the use of an FFP2 respirator or similar protective equipment from all persons entering the EU premises in Bratislava, including student dormitories.
  9. Use the FFP2 respirator or a similar protective device in all internal areas of the EU in Bratislava and areas intended for teaching (including student dormitories, with the exception of the room in which the student is allocated accommodation), strictly adhere to the R-O-R principle.
  10. Regular and short-term ventilation of rooms must be ensured.
  11. At the workplace, a reasonable distance of at least 1.5-2 meters from other persons must be kept.
  12. When handling work and study matters, enter the rooms in one person and keep social distance.
  13. Limit personal contact with others to the extent necessary for persons staying at the workplace and refrain from handshakes.
  14. During classes, ensure adequate social distance between students and teachers.
  15. Regular disinfection of work surfaces and disinfection of hygienic facilities in workplaces and in the toilets must be ensured.
  16. Do not stay in groups at workplaces or public interiors of the university.
  17. Do not group in rooms in student dormitories or public indoor areas of student dormitories.
  18. Regularly clean their premises (dormitories), use disinfectants and observe other hygiene measures.
  19. At the end of the visit to the EU in Bratislava, after the end of working hours or after the teaching process, leave the EU premises in Bratislava.
  20. Use only e-mail accounts assigned by the University of Economics in Bratislava for electronic communication (between employees, between employees and students). The use of private e-mail accounts for official electronic communication is prohibited.

 

Furthermore

to observe and fulfill these measures and regulations in the implementation of the pedagogical process in the form of attendance

  1. Follow all general anti-epidemic measures set out in this order.
  2. Keep an exact record of the participants in all forms of study and every educational activity and keep such records for at least one month.
  3. Do not allow non-organized re-ordering of students between groups.
  4. In the event of the appearance of symptoms of COVID-19 disease during participation in educational activities or during the working day, immediately leave the university using a respirator and take further actions according to the instructions of the attending physician and notify this fact to the direct superior, resp. contact person at the relevant faculty.
  5. A student with confirmed COVID-19 disease must not to participate in the attendance form of teaching until the results of the PCR test or measures of ÚVZ SR - to apologize for teaching and to report this fact to the contact person at the relevant faculty; follow the guidelines published on korona.gov.sk.
  6. Close contacts of the student with a positively tested student (according to korona.gov.sk) - follow the measures of ÚVZ SR published for passing / not completing the mandatory quarantine at www.korona.gov.sk. In case the close contact with the positively tested student is not obliged to complete the quarantine - to continue in the full-time form of teaching. In the case of the obligation to complete the mandatory quarantine - to apologize for teaching and report this fact to the contact person at the relevant faculty.
  7. A teacher - to provide for the student / students with confirmed COVID-19 disease and close contacts of this student with the obligation to complete the quarantine teaching by the distance method or in an alternative term, or provide information about the ongoing teaching and provide the student with the necessary study materials for the current teaching.
  8. An employee with suspected COVID-19 disease remains in home isolation that should be reported this to their employer.
  9. Close contacts of staff members with a COVID-19 suspect (students who have been in close contact with them, colleagues in one common room, etc.) (according to korona.gov.sk) follow the measures of the ÚVZ SR published for passing / not completing the mandatory quarantine at www.korona.gov.sk and notify this fact to the direct superior, the student contact person at the relevant faculty.
  10. Employee in home isolation will continue teaching in a distance form if possible in terms of their health state.
  11. The Dean of the relevant faculty will take another decision in relation to the implementation of teaching according to the situation that currently occurs at the relevant faculty.

 

Furthermore

these measures and regulations in student dormitories must be strictly followed

  1. All general anti-epidemic measures set out in this order related to student dormitories must be followed.
  2. Students who are to stay in domestic isolation after entering the territory of the Slovak Republic should only be accommodated after submitting of the relevant document proving the "OTP" regime.
  3. Travelling out of student dormitories during the academic year must be minimized.
  4. All the premises (rooms) must be cleaned regularly, with the use of disinfectants by ensuring to comply with other hygiene measures.
  5. In case COVID-19 disease symptoms during a stay in the student dormitory, the doctor must be called immediately, and the management of the student dormitory must be informed and their instructions must be followed.
  6. The director of the Center for Business and University Services will make another decision in the event of compulsory isolation or quarantine of the student.
  7. Isolated persons in the student dormitory should be provided with food delivery (paid for by isolated persons) up to the place of accommodation, as well as the collection of waste and provision of necessary purchases.
  8. All service operations within student dormitories must be closed.
