The award "For extraordinary contribution to the development of academic self-government, support of the academic community, and active cooperation" was one of several categories awarded by the university during this exceptional event.
Values that form the basis of academic self-governance
Academic self-government is an integral part of university life. Its essence lies in values such as responsibility, cooperation, trust and respect – principles that shape not only the functioning of the university, but also relationships in the academic community.
The University of Economics in Bratislava is fully aware that the success of the institution depends on people who, with their long-term commitment, value-based approach and support for collegial relationships, contribute to the development of the academic environment.
The award in this category was therefore a thank you to those who, through their activities and cooperation, strengthen the foundations of academic self-government and university culture.
