On 14 and 15 November 2019, the Faculty of Economic Informatics of the University of Economics in Bratislava, together with the Slovak Society for Economic Informatics, organized a scientific conference 100 Years of Statistics in Czechoslovakia - Statistics Yesterday, Today and Current Challenges for the Future. The Conference was held under the auspices of the Chairman of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic Ing. Alexander Ballek and Dean of the Faculty of Economic Informatics prof. Ing. Ivan Brezina, CSc. and focused on the history of statistics in the former Czechoslovakia and in present Slovakia on the occasion of 100 years of statistics in Czechoslovakia.

On 12 November 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to Slovakia H.E. Alicia Buenrostro Massieu. In her lecture, Ambassadro Massieu presented the current economic situation in Mexico and discussed the political situation in connection to the newly elected president and the relations with its neighbour, the United States. The course was led by Mr Gilbert Futó from the Department of International Political Relations of the EUBA’s Faculty of Foreign Relations.

On 5 November 2019, the University of Economics in Bratislava organized the 4th International Study Abroad Fair. The aim of this event was to provide information about mobilities and internships abroad in the framework of the European Commission Erasmus+ programme and bilateral cooperation. The event was organized by the International Mobility Department of the Center for International Relations.
