On Monday, September 16, 2024, the University of Economics in Bratislava, represented by Rector Ferdinand Daňo, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Slovak Compliance Circle, represented by the chairman of the board Martin Sasinek and member of the board Lucia Rosiarová.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., an extraordinary meeting of the EUBA management and the deans of the Bratislava faculties was held. At this extraordinary meeting, they dealt with the current situation caused by heavy rainfall and strong wind and the resulting restrictions in individual locations in Slovakia.

During the summer, the University of Economics in Bratislava started the largest modernization of its infrastructure in history. This ambitious project, which includes the reconstruction of several key buildings of the university, the library and student dormitories, aims to significantly improve conditions for students and staff and to raise the level of education to a higher standard. For this project, the university managed to obtain funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan within the consortium of universities with the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and within the call for "Complex modernization of buildings and dormitories of public and state universities."
