The University of Economics in Bratislava has attained a major achievement concerning the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The University has been awarded funds for several of its projects aiming not only to strengthen its research potential but also to contribute towards upgrading its education programmes and infrastructure.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Holy See to Slovakia, H.E. Mons. Nicola Girasoli, opened the 35th edition of the subject Diplomacy in Practice on 20 February 2024. Before delivering his lecture, Ambassador Girasoli was received by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Boris Mattoš, who informed the guest of the University's international cooperation and internationalisation.

In the Niké SuperFinal of the Slovak Women's Volleyball Cup in Nitra, Slavia EUBA defeated the team of VK Nové Mesto nad Váhom 3:0 (25:8, 25:23, 25:11). The match, which lasted 73 minutes, brought Slavia EUBA their 16th Slovak Cup and the Stefan Pipa Trophy for the second time.

During the summer semester of 2023/2024, the University of Economics in Bratislava will welcome 104 exchange students from 21 countries in Europe, Asia, and America. The largest group consists of students from our partner institutions in France, Spain, Germany, and Portugal, who were sent through the Erasmus+ program. Students from the United States, India, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan are part of bilateral cooperation and the National Scholarship Program. We are also happy to welcome students from Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina coming through the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility program.
