The Commission of independent international researchers announced winning publications for the 2018 EU in Bratislava Award for best publication. In the category, university textbook Michal Páleš, and Vladimir Mucha were awarded for their Probability theory for economists.

The team of authors, led by Erik Šoltés receives prize in the category monographs in Slovak language. Thanks to high quality of nominated papers three prizes were awarded for best paper:

  1. Horvát, R., Kotlebová,J. a Širáňová, M for Interest Rate Pass-Through in the Euro Area: Financial Fragmentation, Balance Sheet Policies and Negative Rates in Journal of Financial Stability;
  2. Baumöhl, E., Kočenda, E., Lyocsa, Š. a Výrost, T. for Networks of Volatility Spillovers Among Stock Markets in Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications;
  3. Vučetič, M. a Hudec, M. for A Fuzzy Query Engine for Suggesting the Products Based on Conformance and Asymmetric Conjunction in Expert Systems with Applications: An International Journal.

The award ceremony will be held on 16.9.2019 during the opening ceremony of new academic year 2019/2020 and the prize will be handed to winners by prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD – rector of the EU in Bratislava.
