The Academic Senate of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business announces the election of a candidate for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business for the term of office from 01 February 2027 to 31 January 2031.
The election of a candidate for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business will take place at the meeting of the Electoral Assembly on 09 October 2026 at 14:00 in the Aula of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business at Dolnozemská cesta 1, Bratislava.
The deadline for submitting proposals for candidates for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business is from the date of publication of this election announcement until 04 September 2026.
The right to submit proposals for candidates for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business is granted to members of the academic community of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business and members of the Board of Trustees of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business.
A proposal for a candidate for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business shall be submitted in writing using the form which constitutes Annex No. 1 to this announcement. The proposal must be accompanied by the written consent of the proposed candidate with the candidacy in the election for the position of Rector, using the form which constitutes Annex No. 2 to this announcement.
Documents shall be addressed to the Chair of the Electoral Committee through the Registry Office of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business in the Rectorate building (V2) during office hours of the Registry Office, in a sealed envelope marked with the sender and labelled: “DO NOT OPEN – RECTOR ELECTION 2026”
The public hearing of candidates for Rector of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business will take place at the meeting of the Electoral Assembly on 09 October 2026 at 09:00 in the Aula of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, at Dolnozemská cesta 1, Bratislava.
